Best Western Rewards: What Happened to the “Pay with Points” Rate?
I recently started a reservation online through Best Western’s official site (not a third-party). With over 17,000 Rewards Points in my account, I chose the “Pay with Points” option and located a BW hotel at my destination. On the same page, I was shown a rate starting at $109.10 per night (compared to the standard rate of $135).
After clicking “View Rooms,” I expected to see a selection of rooms with the discounted rate, but none of the offered options displayed the $109.10 rate. The lowest price shown was $121.65, which is noticeably higher. So what happened to that $109.10 rate?
