Title: A Candid Review of Hotel Delisi in Tbilisi: Things I Wish Had Been Different
I recently stayed at Hotel Delisi in Tbilisi and left with several concerns about the experience. The property overall felt dated and in need of more thorough maintenance. My room had an unsettling odor emanating from the bathroom, with peeling paint and damp patches visible. I also noticed insects, found the bed uncomfortably firm, and struggled to get reliable Wi-Fi during the stay.
Efforts to address these issues with the staff were not as helpful as I had hoped. There was a request to pay in cash only and I did not receive a receipt for the transaction. A particularly troubling moment occurred during a payment dispute, when staff withheld my passport and suitcase. I returned the next day with cash in hand to retrieve these items.
I have photographs that document the room conditions and the concerns I encountered. Based on my experience, I would hesitate to return to this property.
If others have encountered similar issues with this hotel or know the proper local channels for consumer complaints, I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.
